Biology
I’m a senior B.S. biology major from Allentown, NJ, doing research in developmental biology here at Lehigh. I plan to pursue a biology PhD in the future. Outside of academics, I’m a campus tour guide and I play flute in symphonic band. I also play piccolo in the Marching 97 and served on the executive board for three years as the historian and Publicity Manager, which inspired my Eckardt thesis topic.

I’ve loved being able to take advantage of the freedom Eckardt gives me to take classes that truly interest me- as a result, I’ve been able to take many varied biology electives to really figure out what I want to study in the future. I also enjoy the community with my fellow Eckardt scholars; it’s always fun to be able to go out to eat or do fun things like mini-golfing with my cohort. My Lehigh experience in general has been hugely formative. Immersing myself into the traditions of the university through my involvement with the Marching 97, learning about the history of Lehigh and our band, and meeting countless enthusiastic alumni has made my time at Lehigh an incredible experience that I will always carry with me.
