I was born and raised in Syria. A year after the civil war started there, my family and I moved to Lebanon, which is where I went to high school. After high school, my family moved to Dubai, and I came to the U.S. for college. At Lehigh, I’m majoring in Physics and minoring in Applied Mathematics. I intend to pursue a Ph.D. in Physics after graduating from Lehigh.

I was nominated to the Eckardt Scholars Honors Program during my sophomore year by one of my Mathematics professors. Since then, I have made some good friends in the program as everyone in my cohort is very friendly. The program also helped financially support my research at Yale University over the summer, which I am very grateful for.
