International Relations and Economics
I spent the first 12 years of my life in Washington, D.C., but now live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am pursuing a joint major in International Relations and Economics. I hope to use the knowledge gained from my degree to work on public policy and security issues after graduation. Currently, I am one of the members of the Lehigh TRAC Program Leadership Team, and am undertaking independent research. In the past I have also been involved with the LU/UN Youth Representative Program and the Lehigh Debate Society. On top of these on-campus activities, I am lucky to have been able to participate in two separate study abroad experiences, an internship-based one in Prague, and an academic-based one in Paris.

Eckardt/Lehigh Experience Comments:
The Eckardt Scholars Program has given me the opportunity to test various majors without delaying my graduation date. I spent my first year at Lehigh as a pre-med biology major, and later a psychology major. It wasn’t until my sophomore year that I decided to switch to my current program. Not having distribution requirements allowed me to smoothly transition from one major to another while still finding time to complete all my major requirements and study abroad. Additionally, the Eckardt Scholars program introduced me to a group of incredible people who I probably would have not met otherwise. My cohort always finds time to get together throughout the year, whether it be getting dinner, going mini-golfing, or seeing Hamilton on Broadway!
